OPEN CALL GROUP EXHIBITION
"REAL & IMAGINED"
​Arts Inc. Gallery holds a group fundraiser exhibition each year across the Melbourne Cup long weekend, Friday 31 to Tuesday 4 Nov, 2025.
Applications are now open for artists to enter up to three works which respond to the theme 'Real & Imagined'.

ONGOING OPEN CALL
The Gallery Committee issue a seasonal call-out for peak periods, with applications assessed within one month of the close date. For all other periods, applications are accepted up to ten months in advance. We encourage local, new and emerging artists to apply for solo or group exhibitions as well as other creative activities such as workshops.
​We particularly invite local and emerging artists to exhibit in our beautiful gallery, which is prominently housed in the light-filled front room of the heritage Mechanics' Institute Hall on the Great Ocean Road, Apollo Bay.
Our charter is to provide an accessible and affordable gallery space to the local and regional arts community. To achieve this, our rent is applied in two parts, consisting of a very low upfront rate of $100.00 per week ($150.00 at peak times - see dates in APPLY tab) and an additional rent contribution of just 10% of total sales payable after the conclusion of the exhibition. Applications are considered on individual merit by the Committee and will be received no more than ten months in advance. The rent for a one-day workshop is only $50.00.​​
